Motherhood review
Carolyn Roust's talent behind the camera is truly incredible. She was extremely responsive and accommodating, even working around our child's nap schedule. During the shoot, Carolyn radiated a calming energy and provided prompts only when necessary, allowing her to capture genuine moments. To top it off, the gallery was delivered promptly and the resulting photos are simply breathtaking.
Family Session
Carolyn Roust is an incredible artist. She showcased her creative eye and attention to details in our family photo session. Her calm energy put us at ease and because of this she captured our true expressions. It never felt staged or forced and the pictures reflect that. Her photos feel like she is telling a story in each one. I treasure the photos she took and look forward to our next photo session!
Pregnancy Shoot with henna
Working with Carolyn was a dream. We had photographs taken by/in the ocean for our pregnancy with our first child and Carolyn knew the best ideas for poses, suggested ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of, and our images were absolutely beautiful! Carolyn has a way with capturing emotions which was exactly what we wanted- to capture our love and excitement! She’s an amazing person to be around and we felt very comfortable with her behind the lens.

These are amazing!! Stunning! I cannot wait to show them to my family. They made me see my motherhood. It is wonderful what you did with the effects and the light. Some of them in the trees have almost an ethereal effect. My children are gorgeous. You are very talented! These are a treasure to spend time with and a treasure to possess. Truly magical.
Senior Portrait Review
Carolyn did a fantastic job of capturing my daughter’s full personality for her senior photos. Carolyn helped Hannah to relax and be her most authentic self in front of the camera. I am so glad that I have a collection of portraits that show the many sides of Hannah at that age; joyful, contemplative, mature yet youthful. We followed Carolyn’s guidance on where and when to do the photo shoot and I couldn’t be happier with the lighting and beautiful autumn colors in the background. I was also very pleased with her editing skills.(not sure how to word this part-maybe add some photography lingo?) One of my favorite portraits is a black and white, but Carolyn kept a bit of color—Hannah’s pink Doc Martens pop off the page. That photo fully captures the teenager I want to remember—sophisticated and edgy. Working with Carolyn was a great experience!
