Get to know Me and My philosophy

I started taking photos of my kids as they grew up with salty hair and sand in their buttcrack on a small Caribbean island. In the mornings we would go on adventures to the beach, the bamboo grove, or exploring a trail. I would create adventures for them and their friends and bring my camera to capture it. Tea parties, treasure hunts, explorer missions, painting parties on the beach, making coconut boats to launch out to sea. The world is an AWEsome, magical place when you are new to it and thank goodness for children to remind us that all around us is magic if we look. It is from this perspective that I love to shoot.

Now that my children are a bit older (13 and 10), I feel as though I have the experience of knowing the kind of photos that I love the most 10 years later, and want to create those sorts of memories for you and your family. I love to capture joy and connection. Together, we will create a customized experience built around activities to allow us to get natural photos of you and your family doing things you most love to do together, and your kids most love to share with the camera. Playing their instruments, showing me their best soccer or dance moves, going on adventures together, are ways that we can create a real experience that allows for us to get natural, candid moments, and capture amazing moments that you will cherish as your kids grow up.

Aside from a photographer, I am also a henna artist and illustrator. I love to travel. I love the earth. I love people. I love to explore consciousness and study wisdom traditions. Mostly, I am interested in the journey of the soul, in this experience of being human, on earth. It is inspiring for me to attempt to capture the beauty of this mysterious journey of life through photography.
